Contributed Links in Nevix Tracker
Nevix allows you to contribute links to any trackable item (anime, movie, TV show, etc.). This feature lets you share useful links (e.g., Wikipedia pages, streaming service pages, official websites) with other Nevix users.
Adding a Contributed Link
- Locate the “Add Link” Button: Find the ”+ Add” button, typically located at the end of the link list on a trackable item’s homepage.
- Open the “Add Public Link” Dialog: Click ”+ Add” and then select “Public Link”.
- Fill in the Link Details: In the dialog, you’ll see the following fields:
- Title: Enter a descriptive title for your link. Generally, this should be the website’s name (e.g., “YouTube,” “Netflix”). If the website name isn’t self-explanatory, add clarifying words (e.g., “Watch on YouTube”).
- Link: Enter the specific URL you want to share. The link should point directly to the relevant content for the trackable item. For example, a streaming link should go directly to the movie or show’s page (e.g.,
https://www.hulu.com/movie/the-popes-exorcist-eb98e5ee-0986-453a-86a1-31ae653a7408
), not the general homepage (e.g.,https://www.hulu.com
).
- Save or Cancel:
- Click “Save” to add the public link.
- Click “Cancel” to discard your changes.
Contributed Link Guidelines
All contributed links must meet the following criteria:
- Appropriate Content: The linked website must not display inappropriate advertisements, such as those related to pornography, drugs, or other harmful content.
- Specificity: The link must be as specific as possible. As mentioned above, link directly to the relevant content page, not a general homepage.
Important Notes:
- Links that violate these guidelines will be removed without notice.
- Accounts repeatedly contributing inappropriate links may be permanently banned.
