Private Links in Nevix Tracker
Nevix Tracker allows you to add private links to enhance your tracking experience. This feature enables you to associate custom links with specific movies, TV shows, anime, and other trackable content, making it easier to access your preferred websites for each title.
Types of Private Links
Nevix offers two types of private links:
- Regular Private Links: Simple links associated with a specific trackable item.
- Template Private Links: Advanced links that use variables to dynamically generate URLs across multiple trackable items.
Adding Regular Private Links
Regular private links are associated with a single trackable item and will only appear on that specific trackable’s page.
- Navigate to the page of the movie, TV show, or anime you want to add a link to.
- Look for the ”+ Add” button near the “Private Links” section.
- Click on the ”+ Add” button to open the “Add Private Link” dialog.
- In the dialog box:
- Enter the URL in the “Link” field.
- Make sure the “This is a Template Link” toggle is turned OFF.
- Click “Continue” to proceed.
- In the next screen:
- Enter a descriptive “Link Title” that will help you identify the link.
- Click “Save” to add your private link.
- Your new private link will now appear in the “Private Links” section of that specific trackable.
Adding Template Private Links
Template links are more powerful as they can be used across multiple trackables. They use variables that Nevix automatically replaces with the appropriate values for each trackable.
- Navigate to any trackable page or your Tracker Links section.
- Click on the ”+ Add” button to open the “Add Private Link” dialog.
- Enter your template URL in the “Link” field, incorporating variables as needed.
- Toggle ON the “This is a Template Link” option.
- Click “Continue” to proceed.
- Enter a descriptive “Link Title” for your template link.
- Click “Save” to add your template link.
- Your template link will now appear on all trackable pages where the referenced variables are available.

Template links follow the RFC6570 URI Template standard. You can use the following variables in your template URLs:

Example 1: Regular Link to a Streaming Service

- Result: When viewing an anime, this link will direct to its corresponding MyAnimeList page.
Example 4: Template Link for Searching Titles in Original Language

- Result: This creates a search link using the title and original language of the content.

Managing Your Private Links
To view and manage all your private links:
- From a trackable’s page (like a movie or anime), you can:
- Click the “Edit” button next to the “Private Links” section
- Click “View Details” next to link categories like “Streaming” or “Informational”
- Once in the Tracker Links section:
- Select the “Private” tab to see all your private links
- You can further filter between “Regular” and “Templates” links
This provides quick access to manage all your private links from within the context of specific content you’re viewing, or to make broader changes to your link collection.
Sharing Template Links
You can share your useful template links with friends who also use Nevix:
- Find the template link you want to share in your “Tracker Links” page.
- Click on the “Share” option next to the link.
- Copy the generated sharing link and send it to your friends.
- When they open the link, they’ll see a prompt to add the template link to their account.
- Once added, the template link will work across all their compatible trackables.
