Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity

Rationale

Our community on Nevix is diverse, comprising individuals from various age groups, cultures, and sensitivities. To create an inclusive and respectful environment, we limit the display of nudity and sexual activity. These restrictions are designed to consider sensitivity to such content and to deter the sharing of non-consensual or underage content. The policies also encompass digitally created content, unless explicitly used for educational, humorous, or satirical purposes.

We understand that nudity can serve a purpose beyond the sexual, such as protest, education, or medical information. We therefore have gradually refined our policies to be more nuanced and have allowances for content that aligns with such intentions.

Prohibited Content

On Nevix, the following content is strictly prohibited:

1. Imagery of real nude adults if it depicts:

   • Visible genitalia, unless in the context of childbirth, post-childbirth, or certain medical or health situations (e.g., gender confirmation surgery, disease prevention/assessment)
   • Visible anus and/or fully nude close-ups of buttocks unless photoshopped on a public figure
   • Uncovered female nipples, unless it's related to breastfeeding, childbirth, post-childbirth, certain medical or health situations, or an act of protest.

2. Imagery of sexual activity including:

   • Explicit sexual activity, stimulation, intercourse, or oral sex
   • Implied sexual activity and stimulation, excluding cases of medical or health context, advertisements, and recognized fictional images or with indicators of fiction
   • Other activities like erections, by-products of sexual activity, sex toys placed upon or inserted into mouth, stimulation of naked human nipples, and squeezing female breasts (except in breastfeeding contexts).

3. Fetish content involving acts that may lead to the death of a person or animal, dismemberment, cannibalism, or involve feces, urine, spit, snot, menstruation, vomit, and bestiality.

4. Adult sexual activity in digital art except in an educational or scientific context or when specific criteria are met and are shown only to individuals 18 years and older, such as extended audio of sexual activity.

Content Requiring Additional Context

Some content, while sensitive, can be shared within particular contexts, often for educational or medical purposes. Such content will include a warning label for viewer discretion. This includes:

1. Imagery of visible adult genitalia, fully nude close-ups of buttocks, or anus, or implied/other sexual activity, when shared in a medical or health context (like childbirth, post-childbirth, gender confirmation surgery, and disease prevention/assessment)

The following content is permissible only for viewers aged 18 and above:

1. Real-world art that depicts implied or explicit sexual activity
2. Imagery depicting bestiality in real-world art, provided it is shared neutrally or in condemnation and the people or animals depicted are not real
3. Implied adult sexual activity in advertisements, recognized fictional images, or with indicators of fiction
4. Adult sexual activity in digital art, where the sexual activity isn't explicit, is not part of the specified fetish content, the content is posted in a satirical or humorous context, or where only body shapes or contours are visible.
