Rationale

At Nevix, we deeply value the safety and dignity of every individual. As part of our ongoing effort to prevent harm, we strongly oppose and remove any content that facilitates or promotes human exploitation, including human trafficking.

Human trafficking is a global crisis that involves depriving individuals of their liberty for profit. It forces people into activities such as commercial sex or labor against their will, relying on coercion, force, and deception. Human trafficking can affect anyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic background, or location.

While human trafficking and smuggling can overlap, they are distinct phenomena. Human smuggling involves the illegal movement of individuals across international borders, often with their consent, but can still result in exploitation of the vulnerable.

At Nevix, we also promote awareness about these issues. Therefore, we allow content condemning human trafficking or smuggling, raising awareness about these issues, and sharing information about personal safety, border crossing, and seeking asylum.

Prohibited Content

In our commitment to disrupt and prevent human exploitation, we do not allow the following types of content on Nevix:

1. Content recruiting, facilitating, or exploiting people through any form of human trafficking. This includes, but is not limited to:

   • Sex trafficking
   • Sales of children or illegal adoption
   • Orphanage trafficking and orphanage volun-tourism
   • Forced marriages
   • Labor exploitation, including bonded labor
   • Domestic servitude
   • Non-regenerative organ trafficking, excluding organ removal, donation, or transplant in a non-exploitative organ donation context
   • Forced criminal activities, such as forced begging or forced drug trafficking
   • Recruitment of child soldiers

Content Requiring Additional Context

While we strive to prevent any form of human exploitation on Nevix, we understand the importance of awareness, information, and support for those affected by these issues. Therefore, we allow certain types of content with additional context:

1. Content that condemns or raises awareness about human trafficking or smuggling. Such content should be clearly intended to inform and educate, rather than promote or glorify these activities.

2. Content that shares information about personal safety, especially in contexts related to potential trafficking or smuggling situations.

3. Content providing information on border crossing and seeking asylum. This content should be geared towards the safety and rights of individuals, and should not promote illegal activities.

4. Content discussing how to leave a country safely and legally.

We continuously monitor and review our policies to better protect our community and promote a safe environment for all Nevix users. We appreciate your adherence to these guidelines and your help in keeping Nevix a platform that respects and values all of its members.
