Adult Sexual Exploitation

Last Updated: August 1, 2023

Rationale

Nevix acknowledges the critical role it plays in facilitating discussions and raising awareness about sexual violence and exploitation. We aim to provide a safe space where victims can share their experiences while prohibiting content that portrays, threatens, or promotes sexual violence, assault, or exploitation. We also prohibit content that involves non-consenting parties, to deter non-consensual acts.

In an effort to shield victims and survivors, we take down images that capture incidents of sexual violence and private images shared without the person(s) pictured's consent. We also work with external safety experts to enhance our policies and enforcement around online safety issues, removing content linked to harmful activity based on their input.

Prohibited Content

We strictly prohibit posts that consist of any form of non-consensual sexual touching, necrophilia, or forced stripping, including depictions (excluding those in a real-world art context), advocacy, or statements of intent. Similarly, we take action against any content mocking victims or sharing, offering, asking for, or threatening to share inappropriate imagery.

In addition, we will remove content shared by a third party that identifies victims or survivors of sexual assault when reported by the victim or survivor.

The exploitation of individuals by sextortion (coercing money, favors, or intimate images by threatening to expose their intimate imagery or information) or sharing non-consensual intimate images, especially those captured secretly or shared with malicious intent, is strictly prohibited.

Content Requiring Additional Context

Some content may necessitate additional context for proper enforcement. Certain depictions of non-consensual sexual touching, when shared to raise awareness, may be restricted to users over the age of 18 and carry a warning label. However, these should not contain any form of entertainment or sensational context, must not identify the victim or survivor, and should not involve nudity.

Narratives containing detailed descriptions of non-consensual sexual touching are allowed if they are shared by the victim or a third-party to support the victim or condemn the act or for general awareness. However, these will carry a warning screen to prepare the viewer about the potentially disturbing content.

Enforcement

Violations of these policies may lead to the removal of content, and in some cases, may result in the disablement of the offending account. We may also take action against content shared by a third party that identifies survivors of sexual assault when reported by an authorized representative or trusted partner. We encourage our community members to report violations so we can act swiftly to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all Nevix users.

Remember, your use of Nevix means you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community respectful and safe.
