Rationale

At Nevix, we deeply respect and uphold privacy as a fundamental right and value. We strive to protect personal information and prohibit unauthorized disclosure. We understand that safeguarding personal identity and information creates a safe and trusting environment for our community. Therefore, we do not permit the posting of personal or confidential information, which could lead to physical, financial, or other harm.

We also appreciate that certain private information may become publicly available through legal and official sources. In such cases, we may allow the information to be posted. We ensure that there are avenues available for users to report any content they believe violates their privacy rights.

Prohibited Content

On Nevix, you are not allowed to post content that shares, solicits, or presents the following types of private information, either on Nevix or through external links:

Personally Identifiable Information

  • Personal identification numbers and documents such as national identification numbers, government IDs, civil registry documents, immigration documents, and driver's licenses.
  • Digital identity information like passwords, PINs, or access codes for online accounts.
  • Personal contact information, unless shared by the individual or for specific public interests like charitable causes or locating missing individuals.

Financial Information

  • Personal financial details, including non-public financial records, bank account numbers, security or pin codes, and credit or debit card information.
  • Confidential financial information about businesses or organizations, unless publicly shared by the organization itself or disclosed through public reporting requirements.

Residential Information

  • Private residential addresses or information that could be used to identify private residences unless shared for charitable causes or to facilitate finding missing people or animals.
  • Imagery of private residences under certain conditions (please see detailed list in original Facebook policy for specific conditions).

Medical Information

  • Medical, psychological, biometric, or genetic hereditary information of others if it clearly originates from official documents or records.

Information from Hacked Sources

  • Content claimed or confirmed to have been obtained from a hacked source, except in limited cases of newsworthiness.

Content Requiring Additional Context

In some cases, Nevix may need additional information or context to enforce our guidelines on certain content:

  • Depictions of individuals in medical or health facilities or private individuals or minors entering or exiting these facilities are not allowed if reported by the person pictured or an authorized representative, or the facility itself.
  • Source material that purports to reveal non-public, election-related information shared as part of a foreign government influence operation. Nevix reserves the right to remove such content, including reports from state-controlled media entities involved in the leak.
